the devil's work

{cafe press}

no, im not talking about the literal devil and his work.
i mean figuratively.
24 hour fitness has one hell of a work out.
you'll feel like your muscles are burning in the fiery pit of satan's inferno.

i took on the daunting class with 2 of my regular cronies (holla, UP grads!) and yikes!
nevertheless, although the instructor was crazy (in a good way),
and i can't really walk today...or move my arms,
it still feels mighty good to sweat and burn like that.

and reasons why i need to keep sweating and burning like that?

* v-day in park city xo
* vegas SB 2010
* cali trips in spring
* to fulfill my new years resolution
( a healthier lifestyle)

{r is for rodellee}

my sister and i are cali bound this evening.

our brother, other dear sister and her hubby.
tear...

but still so glad the sky is blue and our plane can jet!

things i must remember to pack:
razor (love the venus!)
amlactin body lotion-- a little spendy, but well worth it during the winter months.
my precious jewelry (costume and family heirlooms)
and this:

Forever21, $3.80
Hair pin

a perfect addition to your holiday outfit. and oh so cheap!

can't wait for some spice cookies, hot cocoa, mum's delicious cooking, & family.

Monday No Fun Day

This...
{nathanables}

+ walking these {SF} hills all day...

{parentZing}

+ cocktails, late night {incredible sushi} & family time
= me feeling like Alice in Wonderland [aka lost] and needing some much deserved tea to rid myself of this sore throat.

"In the streets of San Francisco..."

...I'll be sure to wear flowers in my hair.

{Xenga}

A much needed mini vacay to California with mine sisters and bestie. A brief stop to lounge like kitty cats with my family in sunny Sacramento and an early Thanksgiving feast!

It is sure to be the San Francisco treat.

Bonjour Mes Amies!

I have finally arrived in the "City of Lights" with my family and it's absolutely heavenly! After a horrendous 24 hours of travel (arriving with NO luggage-- still back in LAX, go figure), we are sitting down for some much needed vin et fromage.

Very much looking forward to 10 days of vacation. Wishing the parents were here :)

So much beauty here, it's overwhelming. How will my blog do it justice? Will try and write more later...but cannot promise anything until post trip.

If anyone has any tips, do share! We will be galavanting around this splendid energetic city (without my speech abilities-- my French is a disaster; thank God for my sisters and bro)!

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Johnson

A very happy and momentous congratulations to the newest married couple, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson! After a stunning ceremony in Bellingham, we toasted to our beautiful friends and partied until the sun came up (well, almost...).

Thank you for a fantastic evening and cheers to a life of happiness!

Pictures of the festivities (or what we were able to catch on camera between cocktails and cupcakes) captured below...

I'm leaving on a jet plane...

...and off to California to visit the parents with my best friend and sisters! Couldn't ask for a better trip. But more than my urge to lay by the pool, sip mojitos and eat my sister's glorious guacamole, I'm dying to take our usual trip to WALGREENS.

Most do not understand this obsession and love for Walgreens-- most of my friends act puzzled and confused when I get sweaty and excited about entering a Walgreens and shopping for all beauty necessities. I'm telling you-- try it out.

I don't think I have ever left that store without spending at least $60. It is the $60 rule. My sisters, cousins and aunt follow this as well. Things are inexpensive, there is a multitude of products to choose from, and I can always pick up a beauty magazine or chocolate bar on the way out.

As I finish packing my bag and mentally gearing up for a sun soaked weekend, I will be sure to update you on my trip to Walgreens and really go in to what makes this place so special and your best beauty finds. Coming up soon this afternoon...so watch out!

Toodles,
