im heading to Naples, FL for spring break (not that kind of spring break) with the boy, and i need a new, fabulous, delicious, swimsuit. i don't want a torpedo chest or a chunky behind. any ideas? *hint, affordable.
hey! its monday again...and im just trekking along. how darling is this gal, boots and all? i need a bike ride in the sun (or a place without rain at least), stat. and a very happiest 30th birthday to my beautiful sister. here's to accomplished goals and welcomed adventure! xo,
im here again. sorry for the hiatus; haven't had a moment to sit down and breathe. while im laying low at home feeling under the weather, still very full from stuffing my face this past holiday weekend, thought i would disclose all things making my happy and thankful right now. and feeling festive- here comes December!
1. my cozy bedroom- whether it is a mess or perfectly tidy, i love crawling in with my full and heavy down comforter, soft sheets with a candle and book. (wish it only looked like this) ;) or waking up so warm and relaxed from a cat nap or that perfect night sleep.
2. snowy travels.
3. jewels and trinkets
4. delicious candles- especiallythese from anthropologie.
5. holiday reds and holiday spirit.
6. books, books, and more books. im running out of room and my list/collection keeps growing...
7. love.
8. soy lattes and sequins.
9. memories (and day dreaming) of paris
what's making you happy right now? happy holidays, my dears.
yes yes, everyone is saying it, but portland is really starting to feel like fall. sunny days plus that crisp air that smells like apples, fires and spiced drinks.
had to also include this gorgeous photo...summer closing out. don't these women look fab!? not a lot of people can pull off that jean-on-jean look. i'd like both outfits, mm thank you.
...and as for myfall needs: oxford flats chunky knit red scarf over the knee stockings seriously high platform pumps a comfy turtleneck motorcycle lace up boots camel, sparkles and leopard
there is a heat advisory in portland today. and it's supposed to be 100* tomorrow. well well...from 60* to 97*, summer in the NW has surely arrived, my people. i biked to work today (yes, on my must-do summer list, check please!) and a pleasant (not!) streak of sweat begin to develop under my bangs whilst i was wearing my helmet, peddling up this godforsaken demon of a hill, while trying to catch my breath and dodge oncoming cars. now, i probably don't smell my best and my sweatproof makeup is not so sweatproof anymore, but hey, there is practically no one in the building today and FINALLY, i can feel (hear?) the heat searing the sidewalk. but i digress- really, who wouldn't love to be lazily laying in a meadow with nothing to do but nap and drink bubbly (and in gorgeous white frocks)? that's what i call my reality.
and maybe i miss my blonde hair? (but that's a subject entirely of its own).
Gooooooood morning dearest chickadees! Happy Monday. I'm, oddly enough, feeling bright and energetic this Monday (what a change from last week).Anyhoots, looking fwd to a week full of activities, good drink, and even better company. I'm also on the hunt for a fabulous one piece swimsuit. I absolutely adore the cheetah print...any ideas?
what say ye? mostly hideous or straight fab? i must admit, some of the dresses were absolutely grotesque, while a good chunk of lovely ladies really hit the mark. and some were just sleepers, neither here nor there. but my fave are included below- ms. sienna miller, rachel weisz, kerry washington, gisele (stunning!), diane kruger, claire danes and camilla belle. however, let us not forget about those who were just funky...
january jones- WHAT in the world!? and she is always usually oh so gorgeous (and my girl crush).
christina hendricks- the dress isn't that bad (plus, she's stunning), besides that weird (dead bird?) on the shoulder. but please, put your breasts away! can't you find something that doesn't suffocate your chest??
